A DIFFERENT KIND OF CARD

Sometimes, one just needs to make something a little different and so today’s card is just that!

I was cleaning out my scrap bin and pulled out these colours to create this 3-1/4″x6-1/2″ card.  It looked way to plain when I first laid it out So I used the Twigs & Sprigs Embossing Folder and Dies Bundle(159168) to fancy it up a little.  To make it easier to get the twigs and sprigs lined up, I attached each colour strip to a piece of Vellum cardstock and then laid the whole thing in the embossing folder.  When it was done I cut away the vellum and attached each piece in order on the card front.

Have you seen the Alphabet á la mode Dies(160750) in the January Mini Catalogue on page 61?  They’re great to use so I cut out that greeting and added a couple of leaves cut with the Twigs & Sprigs die to fancy things up a little.
