Hi and welcome! Today’s card features one great flower for a birthday celebration.
Yes, this is a one-layer card created with the Coneflower Celebrations stamp set(165247). I always worry that I’ll mess up a one-layer card, but the stamping for this one “co-operated” and delivered. The coneflower was coloured with Stampin Blends after stamping it with the Tuxedo Black Memento ink and the stem and leaves were stamped with Garden Green ink. I added colour to those leaves and the stem with a combination of Dark Granny Apple Green and Dark Lemon Lime Twist to get as close to garden green as possible. The Garden Green Stampin’ Write marker was used to highlight the veins in the leaves.
This one-layer card was inspired by this new challenge from The Paper Players for this week.

Have a very excellent day and Happy Stamping!
Your cone flower is beautiful Cynthia and makes a great centrepiece for a one layer card. I think I’m going to have to get that set! Thanks for playing our one-layer challenge over at The Paper Players this week!
Thanks so much Joanne. It took 3 tries to get a card without boo-boos, lol
Cynthia… just beautiful! Thanks so much for sharing your creativity with The Paper Players.
Thanks Elizabeth.
