A LITTLE WASHI MAKES IT PRETTY

Welcome to Wednesday.  Today’s card features some pretty Washi Tape and a very lovely frame.

I started with a card base of Highland Heather because it’s so bright and beautiful and makes a great background for the Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape(165269). I must confess that I haven’t used this Washi Tape very often as I have a “love/hate” relationship with it, lol.  I tend to get wrinkles when putting it onto the Basic White cardstock, so it took a little extra time and extra inches of the tape to get this card wrinkle-free.

That very pretty frame is from a new bundle called Phrases & Frames that’s in the 2026 May-Aug catalogue page 50.  If you look very closely you can see the lovely texture on it too!

The birthday sentiment was stamped with white emboss powder and cut out with a die from the Fern & Flora dies(also new and coming soon).  That pretty ribbon is the new Peaceful Pine 3/8″ bordered ribbon.

So, why the washi?  To play along with this new challenge from TGIF Challenges this week.
