Hi there. Today I tried a new technique called FAUX Embossing. This is the result.
I found this technique on Splitcoast Stampers and just had to give it a try. So, I pulled out the Stippled Roses stamp set(162657) and went to work!
First, cut a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock and then stamp the image in Crumb Cake ink. Then pull out the Uninked Stampin’ Pad and White Kraft Refill(147277), ink up the pad and then stamp it over the image. Move the stamp a tiny bit(cm) and then stamp again with the craft ink. The idea is that it looks like it went through a 3D Embossing folder, so the more you add the white ink, the more depth.
Then finish off your card with a great sentiment and there you go!
Here’s the list of products used.
