Happy day to you on the third Monday in May! The weather has been absolutely beautiful so today’s card features light and bright for this sunny day.
What better way to feature light, bright and beautiful than with the Fresh As a Daisy Suite Collection(161301) layered on a card base of Lemon Lolly! I sure had fun building these pretty daisies too. I started by using the outline stamps in Smoky Slate ink and the go the bright idea to use the die-cut centres to add extra texture and detail. I think they all turned out pretty nice. The Fresh As a Daisy designer paper has two pages of smaller designs so I used one of them for the main mat as the starting layer.
I am playing along with this new challenge from TGIF Challenges so added the bundled flowers stamped in Daffodil Delight as the thinner bottom strip. Here’s the sketch they posted.
