Good morning and welcome to my blog. I’ve gone a little Vintage today!
I’ve been playing with a great stamp set called “Bliss” which is available as a FREE selection in the Sale-A-Bration catalogue. All you need to to is spend $60 on regular merchandise and you can add this lovely set to your order.
Vintage is not my usual style, but I gave it my best shot here. The card base is Crumb Cake and I layered a piece from the First Edition Specialty Designer Paper pack onto Peach Parfait. This entire piece was tucked snugly inside the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder and then run through the Big Shot. (This is an awesome tool, every craft room needs one!).
The First Edition paper is such fun because the articles are so interesting to read – he, he. This particular piece talks about old typewriters!
The large flourish image from Bliss was stamped on a square of Very Vanilla that was cut with the Scallop Squares Duo Die and, the Big Shot(see what I mean). I thought it would be fun to layer another piece from First Edition on this, and then the entire piece was sponged with Crumb Cake Classic ink.
Some Victoria Crochet Trim adds the right touch and I finished off the sentiment(from Cute By The Inch) with, what else, an Antique Brad.
