CELEBRATING SUNFLOWERS

It’s sunflower season and I was inspired by all of the beautiful photos of fields of sunflowers for today’s card.

I went slimline for this one so it would show off a partial field of sunflowers created with the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set(152517).  To get a line of images, it first stamped the image onto a piece of a large post-it note and then cut it out.  Then you just layer it over the top of the already stamped image and carry on.

The original intent was to watercolour these beauties, but after using the Saddle Brown Stazon ink(151508), I decided to just leave them.  That’s a very pretty brown so it really doesn’t need much for it to stand out!
