I’m moving back to fall with today’s clean card for a fall birthday!
Those falling leaves are just so pretty. I started by embossing the Basic White piece with the Leaf Fall 3D Embossing Folder(159847). Because the white cardstock is a little thinner, I added a cardstock “shim” so the images would stand out a little more. This made it easier to add colour to random leaves with a Sponge Dauber. To keep the colours light, I rubbed the extra ink off before adding it to the piece.
I was going to do a few other things but decided to keep it clean by just adding that birthday sentiment adorned with a piece of the Pale Papaya Open Weave Ribbon(155672). By the way, this ribbon is part of this week’s Weekly Deals!
The Paper Players posted a “Fall Fun” theme challenge this week and what’s more fun than falling leaves?
I must say, we haven’t seen the leaves falling yet up here in northeast BC, but they are starting to change and will be covering our yard soon.

Enjoy your day and Happy Stamping to you!
Cynthia, what a clever way to add come color to the embossed leaves! Thanks for playing at The Paper Players this week!
Thanks Jennie.
Clean and beautiful, Cynthia! I love how you added touches of color. Leaves are not falling here in Iowa yet, but I’m sure that in a couple of weeks, it will be a different story. Thank you for playing with The Paper Players!
Thank you Ann. I’m surprised that the leaves haven’t changed yet here, it’s later than usual.
Very pretty technique, Cynthia! Your softly-colored falling leaves are so pretty! Thanks for playing with our Fall Fun challenge this week at the Players!
Thanks LeAnne.
