GREAT FRIEND FOR WORD WEDNESDAY

Each week for the past 6 weeks, I’ve been highlighting a stamp set that starts with letters in the Word “SPRING”. This is the last week in this series and today’s letter is “G”. The stamp set is “Great Friend” which you can find on page 122 of the Idea Book & Catalogue.

I needed a little help with the layout so pulled this week’s sketch CCMC149 from Create with Connie & Mary. OK, here we go. I started with a card base of Tangerine Tango and added the background using a stamp called “Wonderfully Worn” It just seems to fit.

The designer paper comes from my new favourite package, Beyond the Garden. LOL, I just can’t seem to stop using it!

Isn’t that butterfly pretty? I used the Baby Wipe technique and Re-inkers to get the multi-color look. It was cut it out with my paper snips and then popped it up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The 3/8″ Whisper White Taffeta ribbon was wrapped around the scalloped piece and I added the bow using Mini Glue Dots.
