HEARTS AND FLOWERS

Hi and welcome to this last Monday in January!  Hearts & Flowers season is right around the corner and I’ve been working on heartfelt cards.

This one was created with the Softly Sophisticated stamp set (162940).  I wanted to create a little garden of pretty red flowers so cut out a piece of Basic White with the Scalloped Contours Dies(155560) and taped the edges before stamping so the edges would be clean.  That piece of Real Red was tucked into the Adoring Hearts Hybrid Embossing Folder to add just a touch of texture behind those flowers.

I started this card from the new Inspiration Challenge from the TGIF Challenges blog.

And,  the addition of those tiny Hearts from the Adhesive-Backed Hearts and Flowers package(162557) definitely add the heart to this card.
