Do you like hummingbirds? Well, I put one on todays’ card for you to enjoy!
This is my take on a Ruby-Throated Hummingbird, isn’t she pretty? This card was created especially for the new Challenge from The Paper Players this week.
So we want you to create a project with Black and White and add that bold pop of colour like I did with the Hummingbird. I’m sure looking forward to seeing your interpretation of this challenge.
I used the Thoughtful Expressions Bundle(162882) and the Layered Florals 3D Embossing Folder(162935) to start. Then grabbed the Darling Details dies(161370) to create that pretty frame.
After I had coloured and cut out the hummingbird, I used the Versamark pad to cover it and then heat set with Clear Emboss powder to she would stand out.

Wowza, I’ll bet this hummer looks even more amazing in real life! We have a hummingbird feeder that attaches to our window and have spent lots of time over the summer watching them from up close and personal, so I am loving this card. I really like how you added the flower in the background in such a strategic position, too! And the frame “frames” it all so well!

Hummingbirds are just my favorite birds. They are wonderful to watch over summer. Since we moved to a highrise, we haven’t been able to attract them, so it was wonderful to see them highlighted on your fabulous card

Such a gorgeous card, Cynthia! I love the color and detail in your little hummingbird. They are for sure my favorites. We have three couples who frequent our feeders in the warmer months. I could watch them for hours. Thanks for rocking my challenge this week!
