Hello out there in blogland! Welcome and thanks so much for visiting today. I am showing another idea for the On the Grow stamp set from the Summer Mini catalogue today. Stamping 411 posted color challenge # 159 last week and the new Sketch # 208 for this week.
These colors do not remind me of summer but I was determined to make them work with this On the Grow stamp set. So, here are the colors……………….
…………….and here is the sketch.
Here is how I interpreted both.
OK, so the card base is Old Olive and then I added a piece of designer paper from the Brights Patterns Pack matted onto Basic Gray. Then I wondered, where do I go from here (lost mojo moment LOL) because there needed to be Not Quite Navy in this project. So I stamped the pretty jar of flowers with Not Quite Navy classic ink and did the sentiment in this same color. Good!
The Old Olive mat behind the image was embossed with the Big Shot and Square Lattice Embossing folder and adhered to the card front. The ribbon is Very Vanilla Seam Binding which is a carry-over product from the Occasions Mini catalogue.
A couple of 3/16″ brads from the Regals collection to finish things off and we’ll call it a great greeting card!

How pretty leaving the image monochromatic and the color in the base card! Thanks for playing along with Stamping 411!
I love the combination of texture & patterned dsp on the base, and I never would have thought to leave the flowers uncolored, it looks great!!
Yay! You did both challenges and rocked it!!! I love the focal image left uncolored. It’s very chic!
Wow! This is amazing! My favorite of the week!
