IT’S THE BIG 50

Some friends of ours are celebration their 50th Anniversary this month, so today’s card is filled with celebration and love!

It took two stamp sets to create this, the Love for You stamp set(160398) with its matching Love for You Dies(160403) and the It’s In the Stars background stamp(161269).

I used that background stamp because a 50 year marriage just had to be written in the stars don’t you think?  It was inked up with Versamark and then heat embossed with white emboss powder to give a subtle background.

The Love for You stamp set has just the right images and so I used those pretty little hearts to stand for each decade of marriage.

The colours in this card were chosen by the design team at TGIF Challenges and were fun to play along with.
