JUST A BIRTHDAY CARD

Hello on this last Monday of February!  Since we will soon be saying goodbye to Sale-A-Bration tomorrow, I decided to use up a few last pieces of the Favored Flowers designer paper.

I started out with a Fresh Freesia card base, then cut that pattern with the Rectangle dies and layered them together.  I needed a birthday card, so pulled out the Best Day stamp set(160798) and ended up colouring it with the Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blends duo.  I wasn’t sure that those colours would work together, but they don’t look too bad at all!  So I went even further by wrapping a piece of the Sweet Sorbet metallic woven ribbon(159200) around the image panel, and voilà, it works too!

It shouldn’t be a surprise though, Stampin’ Up! colours are made to co-ordinate!
