Hi, I’m back to Christmas with this pretty stocking.
I pulled out the Stitched Stocking Bundle(168231) and did a bunch of stamping and cutting. As you can see, there are a few different colours on this particular stocking that make it a fun project.
First, I cut out the red stocking and then layered the die onto a piece of Crumb Cake to just cut the stocking cuff. Then I used a combination of Real Red, Crumb Cake, Pretty Peacock and Coastal Cabana inks to make the patchwork on the piece of Basic White cardstock. Then, it was cut with the smaller die and adhered to the larger red stocking shape.
The flowers and holly leaves were a fun addition with a lot of cutting as well.
The card front was embossed with the Softly Woven 3D embossing folder and the stocking cuff was embossed with the Rustic Check 3D embossing folder. Both of these are new from the 2026 Sept-Dec catalogue. As is the Multicolour Christmas Baker’s Twine.
I used this combination of colours to play along with The Paper Players challenge this week.
