PATIENTLY WAITING FOR SPRING

That title might be a little bit of a white lie, lol, because I can hardly wait for spring to arrive!  However, I’m busy creating spring-themed projects and today’s features the harbinger of spring, Tulips!

The Flowering Rain Boots bundle(157691) delivers with those tiny tulips done in Magenta Madness.  I planted red tulips last fall and can hardly wait to see them peeking through this spring!

I’m playing along with the TGIF Challenge this week and am happy to say that I was able in use all of the colours in the challenge.

There is a technique included in this card – I used a Water Painter and a drop of Balmy Blue Reindeer to add that splash behind the boots and watering can.  I got the idea from the Stampin’ Up facebook page and think that it adds a bit of a pop to the background.
