POPPIES FOR REMEMBRANCE

Hi, it’s Remembrance Day in Canada and today’s card features poppies as it is the way we remember our Veterans in Canada.

I took this flower image from the Thoughtful Wishes stamp set(163305) because they do look like poppies to me.  A little colouring with the Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends makes them stand out.

For good measure, I also added those two strips of Poppy Parade cardstock embossed with the Cane Weave 3D embossing folder(160580) to add a little texture.

This layout is from TGIF Challenges as is perfect to highlight that pretty image.
