Halloween is coming and it’s a good idea to be prepared!
So…when you don’t have any stamp sets specific to Halloween, you improvise! I used the Hello Harvest Bundle(159644) to create that “scary” jack-o-lanturn and coloured it with the Old Olive Stampin’ Blends combo. Then, how do you add a face? Well, you use the triangle scallop die from the Basic Borders Dies(155558) and cut the triangles to form the mouth and the eyes. Then, I decided that the “moon” needed some bats, so cut a few more triangles apart and added them.
A bit of blending with Fresh Freesia ink added the spooky colour to that moon.
Just for good measure I used the tree from the Beauty of Friendship stamp set as a sillouette on the moon!
This is my design submission as part of the Design Team over on the SUO(Stampin’ Up Only) blog and it’s inspiration for you to play along with the Halloween theme.
Check out the product list for the rest of the items that I used.
