RED SPIKE AMARANTH

Happy Friday to you.  I’m ending this week with another beautiful flower called the Red Spike Amaranth.

This is another choice from the Everlasting Beauty stamp set(160416) and it’s a pretty one don’t you think?  Since there are no dies for this set, I fussy cut them after colouring them with Stampin’ Blends(Poppy Parade and Grannie Apple Green).  The colours are a nod to Christmas which is “only” 4 months away.

I did two so they could be bunched together to stand out on that pretty blue circle on top of a card of Crushed Curry cardstock!.  Balmy Blue was used for the background on the circle and applied with a Blending Brush(153611).

The sentiment was carefully chosen from the Something Fancy stamp set(160416) so it wouldn’t cover up those pretty blooms.
