ROSES BY THE POOL

Today is all about the roses all done up in pool party.

I was playing around with the Stippled Roses Bundle(162667) and came up with this card.  The Stippled Roses stamps are called “distinctive” because they add so much detail to the stamped image which means that you can use any paper to stamp them onto!  So, I used a piece from the Softly Stippled designer paper(Sale-A-Bration 162975) for the roses and pieces of the background that they sit on.

It turned out quite nicely, if I do say so myself and then I added that subtle sentiment from the Thoughtful Moments Hybrid Embossing folder(162927).  This is a fun unit to play with as you can use any colour of cardstock and ink to highlight each sentiment.  It also gives the opportunity to play around with the Stampin’ Brayer(162936) to add the colour just where you want it!
