Good morning and thanks for stopping by. I’ve been playing with the goodies I received for FREE from the Sale-A-Bration catalogue – still!
This week’s MOJO Monday sketch #181 looked like fun and I needed a good big dose of bright and cheery colors. Here is the sketch…….
…….and here is my card! Yes indeed, it certainly is bright! I just couldn’t stop smiling when creating this!
There’s a lot going on here so let me get started. The card base is good old reliable, Old Olive with a cheery mat of Daffodil Delight. The Designer paper is just one sheet from the Ice Cream Parlor pack also a FREE choice during Sale-A-Bration.
Aren’t those pompoms cute? I used Melon Mambo here but they are also available in Daffodil Delight(121885) and Tangerine Tango(123323). Check them out on page 35 of the Occasions Mini Catalogue.
The sentiment comes from a FREE Sale-A-Bration stamp set called, Punch Bunch. I used Stampin’ Write Markers to color directly on the stamp, “huffed” on it and then stamped on a piece of Whisper White cardstock. The 1-3/4″ Scallop Circle Punch did the rest.
Because the PomPom Trim is bulky, I layered Stampin’ Dimensionals on the circle to pop it up cleanly on the card. This card will need to be either hand-delivered or mailed in our Padded Envelopes found on page 170 of the Idea Book & Catalogue, Item #116911.
RECIPE:
Stamp Set: Punch Bunch(SAB 123211)
Cardstock: Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Whisper White, Ice Cream Parlor Designer Series Paper & Quick Accents Pack(SAB122242)
Accessories: Stampin’ Write Markers(Melon Mambo, Peach Parfait & Old Olive), 5/8″ Old Olive Grosgrain Ribbon(109054), Melon Mambo PomPom Trim(123322), 2-3/8″ Scallop Circle Punch XL(118874), 1-3/4″ Scallop Circle Punch XL(119854), Stampin’ Dimensionals(104430)
There you go, a little bit of color for a snowy day. If we can’t see our gardern flowers up here in NorthEastern BC yet, at least we can “grow” them on paper – hee, hee.
Take care and Happy Stamping to you.
