SAYING IT SIMPLY WITH STAMPIN’ UP

Simply saying Good Morning to you! The angled square on the Stamping 411 sketch this week really intrigued me so I just had to play along. Check it out…….

………and, since Nature Walk was sitting on my desk, it just seemed right to use it for this card.

I haven’t played with the Springtime Vintage Designer paper for a while so out it came! I also added a small piece from the First Edition specialty designer paper. River Rock is not a color I use a lot but it looks pretty paired with Rose Red and, of course, Confetti White.

The floral spray was colored “direct to stamp” with Stampin’ Write Markers in Old Olive and Rose Red and then stamped twice on the confetti white cardstock piece. I colored the butterfly and plant image on the First Edition paper with Stampin’ Write Markers in River Rock, Rose Red and Old Olive. Both pieces were matted with River Rock cardstock.

The sentiment comes from Say It Simply, available in the Occasions Mini catalogue. I added the Filigree Brads because, well, I haven’t used them for a while either. I like the brad wrapped around the knot of the bow – I think it adds just the right amount of interest!
