SILHOUETTE SENTIMENTS FOR WORD WEDNESDAY

Welcome to Wednesday dear readers. We have a new word for WORD Wednesday and this is a very appropriate one I think. The word is “SPRING”! It is that time of the year and what we are all hoping for as well!

As this is a 6-letter word, we will be extending WORD Wednesday into the merry month of May.

Isn’t it pretty? The background paper is just a sample of all the gorgeous designs that are in the Paisley Petals designer paper pack that is part of the Spring is Blossoming promotion and the label is from the Four Frames stamp set that is also available with this promotion.

I used a Stampin’ Write Marker in River Rock and one in Marina Mist to color the flower image from Silhouette Sentiments before I stamped it inside the label image. The greeting comes from Silhouette Sentiments as well and is the perfect size for this label image.

I stamped the flower image again on a scrap piece of Very Vanilla cardstock, cut it out with my paper snips and then adhered it beside the label with a Mini Glue Dot just under the bow.

The larger mat for the label was made using a scrap piece of cardstock that was already embossed with the Square Lattice Embossing folder. I think it adds just the right amount of extra for this card.
