SPRINGTIME MESSAGE

Happy Thursday to you and Welcome! It seems that Spring is really here in northeastern British Colombia. The snow is melting(we can actually see some grass in our yard!), the sky is a beautiful Bashful Blue and the sun, ahhh the sun is shining so brightly. Yes, it just feels so good!

This week, Stampin’ Royalty has a great color challenge using springtime colors and I just had to play along.

Here is my card………………..

………………and here are the wonderfully spring-y colors to play with.

I started with a card base of Tempting Turquoise and added a Blushing Bride layer. I’m loving the new Paisley Petals Designer paper and found a way to add another design to this card. The lovely flower image comes from Messages For Mom and I stamped it on whisper white with Stazon Jet Black ink and then colored it with Stampin’ Write Markers. A few strategically placed pearls added a little bling.

The greeting comes from the same stamp set and fits perfectly inside the pretty frame from the Four Frames set that is also available as a sneak peak with the Paisley Petals paper.

I stamped, colored and then cut out that extra flower because, well, it just belongs there and the double layer of ribbon finishes things off nicely.
