TANGERINE DAZZLE FOR WORD WEDNESDAY

Hello and welcome to WORD Wednesday! Each Wednesday I’m featuring a stamp set that starts with a letter in the word – SPRING. Today’s letter is “R”.

I choose to use this week’s Sketch #199 from Stamping 411 along with the stamp set, Razzle Dazzle.

Here is the sketch – I like it because it is a simple layout that can be used in many different ways.
Here is my interpretation………………….
I did some heat embossing for this using the new Stampin’ Emboss powder that is in the Summer Mini catalogue. This choice is Tangerine Tango. I cut out a circle of very vanilla using the 2-1/2″ Circle Punch and then stamped the image with Versamark. The Tangerine Tango embossing powder was sprinkled over top and then heat set. (I rubbed the Embossing Buddy over the card stock before I stamped the image to help get rid of static.)

The large scallop circle was cut with the Scallop Circle #2 die and the big shot. I added holes on each scallop with the paper piercing tool for some added interest.

The stamp-a-ma-jig and the masking technique came into play for the sentiment.
