Hello there! We were away on a big road trip these past 2-1/2 weeks so I got busy today to create a thank you card. Friends of ours let us use their travel trailer so a great big thank you is certainly in order!
I also pulled up two challenges for inspiration, The Paper Players colour challenge
and the sketch challenge from Freshly Made Sketches.
It seems like forever since I stamped, lol, so the inspiration was very much needed!

Our road trip consisted of travelling the Alaska Highway to Whitehorse, Yukon and then the Klondike Highway to Dawson City. Dawson City is a terrific place to visit if you’re interested the the Klondike Gold Rush. And, Whitehorse has some really wonderful Museums to visit to get you started on what the Klondike gold rush was all about!
We also took the White Pass & Yukon Railway Train to Skagway, Alaska which was a starting point for some of the “would-be” miners and what a fun ride it was! So much beautiful scenery through very steep climbs and rough country. I have a brand new appreciation for what our ancestors went through on their search for riches in the gold fields!
