THE HAPPIEST OF BIRTHDAYS

Today is a birthday kind of day so I’m using the retiring Happiest of Birthdays stamp set(152539) to send a bold message!

I started with a slimline card base that measures 3-1/4″ x 7″ and added strips of designs from the also retiring Hand-Penned Designer paper(155499).  It needed a bright colour, so I added a mat of Melon Mambo.

The background for the greeting was brushed on with our Blending Brushes but it needed a pop of colour too, so I stamped the greeting over top with Melon Mambo ink and heat set it with Clear Emboss Powder.

The shape of the greeting was achieved by tracing around the stamp itself and then hand-cutting it.

This whole card was inspired by the new TGIF Challenge for this week.

This was fun to make and the card will fit nicely inside the Slimline Envelopes(157981) found on page 53 of the January-June 2022 Mini Catalogue.
