TO A LOVELY FALL DAY

Fall is right around the corner and we are feeling a cooler touch in the air as well as seeing the leaves changing.  Right on time for the first day of fall on Sept. 22, 2022!!!

This very vanilla card is my version of an Ode to a lovely fall day!

Very Vanilla isn’t my usual “go-to” colour but it works very nicely with this fall theme.  I also used ink colours that say fall to me, Cajun Craze and Mossy Meadow to match the square of Rustic Harvest designer paper.

After die-cutting the squash stem, I used a Sponge Dauber(133773) to add a little colour, it can’t all be vanilla you know, lol.  I also couldn’t leave the card base plain so used the Twigs & Sprigs Bundle Embossing folder(159168) for some background.

This super layout is from Freshly Made Sketches and it was a lot of fun to think about and work with.
