Good Morning on Earth Day. Did you know that over 6 million Canadians will join over 500 million people today to hold events in over 180 countries to address environmental issues? Actually, Earth Day has grown so much over the years that celebrations take place throughout the entire month of April! Staggering isn’t it?
Today, my card as a small contribution using Mary Jo’s TSSC118 sketch and I felt that The Color Dare 64 would work nicely with it’s earthtone colors.
There just happened to be a sheet of White Vellum sitting on my desk, and it inspired this idea.
I first stamped the grass image from “Inspired by Nature” on Very Vanilla with Certainly Celery Classic Ink. The bird image from “Of the Earth” was lined up with my Stamp-a-ma-jig on vellum and stamped with Summer Sun(soon to retire), Old Olive and Certainly Celery Classic Inks. The sentiment, from “Inspired by Nature”, was added using Always Artichoke Classic Ink.
I attached the vellum sheet with Mini glue dots in each corner, and the card is done.
Have yourself a wonderful and warm Earth Day.
Cheers;
Love your card Cynthia!
