TRYING TWO TECHNIQUES

Hello and welcome.  Today’s card features two techniques that I found on Facebook and decided to give them a try.

It all started out by using Blending Brushes to add Crisp Cantalope and Barely Blush inks to a 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″ piece of Basic White cardstock.  Then it was slipped into the very beautiful Floral Spray 3D embossing folder(167946).

The first technique involved using the Uninked stamping’ pad.  The White refill needs to be added to the pad and then I swiped it over the embossed design to add a bit of depth.

The second technique involved the Heirloom Boutique Bundle(167731).  I stamped the flower bundles twice with versamark and then heat embossed them with Gold emboss powder on a piece of basic white cardstock that had already been coloured Barely Blush with a Blending Brush.  Depth and dimension was added to the flowers and leaves with a Blender Pen using the Peaceful Pine ink and Crisp Cantalope inks.

The leaves were cut using the Scalloped Wishes Dies(167452) after brushing on Peaceful Pine ink to a piece of basic white cardstock.

I really love how this turned out and it’s going to be one of the cards we make at the next card class!
