“Word Wednesday” that is. I thought that it would be fun to highlight the letters in “WORD”. So each Wednesday for the next four weeks, I’ll use a stamp set that starts with each letter in “word”.
Today’s card uses the wood-mount stamp set, Wellness Wishes” that is an alternate FREE choice in the Sale-A-Bration catalogue.
Mary Jo’s Technostamper Sketch challenge for this week worked perfectly for this set.
Because this is a “get well” card, I felt that bright colors would help to cheer up the patient, so I started with a card base of Pacific Point. Daffodil Delight and Pear Pizzazz make up the extra two layers and I added a piece of designer paper from the Celebrations Designer Paper package.
The main image was stamped in Pacific Point classic ink using the “masking technique”. The sentiment from “Word Play” was colored “direct to stamp” with Pear Pizzazz and Pacific Point Stampin’write Markers.
A Springtime Vintage Big Designer Button which you can purchase from the Occasions Mini Catalogue makes a cheerful embellishment.
