LOOKING AT FALL COLOURS - Cynthia Stevenson, Stampin Up! Demonstrator

Hi, I’ve taken a turn away from summer flowers and have gone to fall colours.

I do love the fall colours that will be showing up here soon and this card is a good example of those beautifully rich colours. I started with a card base of Cajun Craze and added a panel embossed with the Fern & Flora 3D embossing folder(167744).

The striped edge is a piece from the Artisan Sketched designer series paper(167752) that is on sale right now and I used a Blending Brush to add Cajun Craze ink.

The multi-coloured leaves were cut from a piece of Basic white that I added colour to with Blending brushes. And that lovely sentiment is from the Begonia Belle stamp set(168592).

This card came about because of this new challenge from The Paper Players this week.

Cynthia, I love Cajun Craze so, your background is just fabulous to me. I love the embossed panel and the stripes. The fern and flora dies make such a pretty card. SO happy you joined my challenge at The Paper Players this week!

Beautiful, Cynthia! I like the way you’ve coloured the DSP and added it to contrast with the texture of the embossed panel. The soft sponged colour on the foliage is lovely. Thanks for joining in with our CAS challenge at The Paper Players. 🙂

Beautiful, Cynthia! Cajun Craze is one of my favorite fall colors. I love the contrast between it and the softly, blended leaves. The texture is AMAZING! I really like how you created a sentiment banner. This is a great layout. Thank you for playing with The Paper Players this week!

What a gorgeous fall card, Cynthia! Like Claire, I love Cajun Craze and am crazy about how it looks on the embossed panel of your card. The cluster of leaves turned out so pretty from your blending and the sentiment is one of those that is perfect for many occasions. So lovely!
