Good morning and welcome to another edition of WORD Wednesday! The word of choice is “PUMPKIN” and today we are focusing on the letter “M”!
There is a beautiful stamp set on page 139 of the Idea Book & Catalogue called “My Friend” and I chose to focus on it for this one with a sketch inspiration from The Paper Players.
Here is my interpretation.
I started with a card base of Early Espresso and added a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of designer paper from Pocketful of Posies. The 3 strips are from another piece of this same designer paper.
The main image was inked up and stamped using Baja Breeze Classic ink and then over-stamped with Versamark. The handy-dandy Stamp-a-ma-jig helped with placement here. I was looking for a little glam so heat set some Iridescent Ice Stampin’ Emboss Powder. Then it was cut out using the 2-1/2″ Circle Punch. I matted it with an Early Espresso circle cut with the Circle Scissors Plus and then another circle using the Big Shot and Scallops Circles #2 Die. A few well-placed Stampin’ Dimensionals added depth to the image on the card.
The greeting was inked up with Baja Breeze classic ink and then gently rolled on the Early Espresso classic ink pad to add just a slight bit of highlight.
